33 YEARS... THE TIME OF WISDOM AND MATURITY (JUNE 25, 2014)

In her latest monthly message (June 25, 2014), Our Lady says : "Pray, pray, pray, and in prayer you will discover the wisdom of living".
     
The word "wisdom" is not a word that the Mother of God has spoken frequently throughout these years (we can find it in very few messages, like this one : May 25, 2001).
     
But on the occasion of the 33d anniversary of the apparitions (33 is ever so symbolic !), maybe Our Lady wanted to make us understand that we had to become MATURE...
   
Anyway, the word "wisdom" is central in the message.
It echoes the sentence that is just before : "Your heart and soul thirst for peace and love, for God and His joy"; as if Our Lady had wanted to remind us that wisdom was the mother of all gifts.
     
Indeed, here is what we can read about wisdom in the Book of Wisdom : "Now all good things came to me together with her, and innumerable riches through her hands. And I rejoiced in all these : for this wisdom went before me, and I knew not that she was the mother of them all" (Wisdom 7, 11-12).
     
So, just like King Solomon, we are invited to ask God to give us the gift of wisdom.
And to be absolutely sure to get it (and all the other gifts together with it), the best way is to do what Our Lady asks us to do.
Why ? Simply because the Holy Church teaches us that Our Lady is the "Seat of Wisdom". In french, we even say : the "Throne of Wisdom".
     
So, in these days when we celebrate the 33d anniversary of the apparitions of Medjugorje, let us listen very carefully to Our Lady.
She wants to help us to grow in peace, in love, in joy... through wisdom.
If we follow her pieces of advice, we will surely make progress, spiritually. Through wisdom, we will also be able to comprehend what God's plan is in our regard, and we will be able to bring it about in all its fullness (cf : January 25, 1987).
